the voyage has concluded. After the voyage has ended, the entire page will
be posted for public viewing.
If you are a regular visitor to our site, you may request access to the
daily updates by contacting us in advance. No new access
privileges will be granted while the voyage is in progress.
If you are approved for live updates, we will provide you with a private link
and/or a password. There is no charge.

Our itinerary for the Asian Disneylands trip is changing almost daily.
Check the "Introduction" chapter on that page for up-to-the-minute hotel
bookings and other information of interest. The procedures for making a
reservation at a Tokyo Disney Resort hotel are worth the price of admission! Itineraries for 2009 have changed, as expected. We have cancelled our
booking for the return cruise from Japan to Los Angeles due to the outrageous
price for this segment (nearly triple the fare for the same category of room on
the Symphony's Pacific crossing.) This coupled with the fact that it is
part of the World Cruise and other issues with the L.A. office led to our
conclusion that it just wasn't worth it. As promised, the itinerary planned for
Hong Kong and Japan has changed, several times.
We flew to Costa
Rica on January 27, 2008, to join Crystal Symphony for two back-to-back Panama Canal cruises that will ended up back in Los Angeles.

reading our blow-by-blow account, we are not picky travelers. However,
we do expect to get what we pay for and if we don't get it you'll hear about it.
On the other hand, if we get more than we expected, you'll hear about that
also. Your opinion will certainly differ
